Our research is centered on “Engineering-Driven Medicine.” Our laboratory engages in interdisciplinary, transformative, and translational research that harnesses engineering advances in biomaterials, immunoengineering, and neuroengineering to develop innovative and improved clinical solutions for emerging challenges in regenerative medicine, skeletal disease, cardiovascular disease, and neurological disorders, etc.

News & Events

June 10th, 2024: The Zhu Lab receives nearly $3 million NIH R01 grant for pediatric heart defect research. This funding will support their groundbreaking research on developing a novel stent designed for children with heart defects, such as coarctation of the aorta.
